Alsek Fish

"We are a small fishing family that fish for salmon every summer and spend the rest of the year direct marketing our salmon to other small businesses and consumers like us. Mom, Dad, 3 kids, 1 wild dog, a grandma and a grandpa. 

We fish for salmon on the Alsek River, 60 air-miles from the nearest town, Yakutat, Alaska. 

We catch a few fish at a time, not hundreds at a time. This makes it so we can handle each fish on our own making sure they are handled with care.  

    The Alsek river is a glacial river that has one of the highest qualities of salmon you can get. The reason for this is the glacial water makes our salmon naturally have a higher omega 3 and fat content then any other salmon."
